03.04.2025 Start into your 2nd semester | Workshop
The summer semester is starting soon – which means you have successfully completed your first Master’s semester! While you might still be at the beginning of your way to your master’s degree, opposed to other study programs, the regular period of study for master’s degrees is much shorter, though.
That makes it all the more important to figure out which modules, internships, exams and forms need to be dealt with early in order to ensure you will be able to finish your studies in a timely manner.
For this reason, we, the Study Service Center SSC, would like to invite you to our workshop, which intends to provide all the necessary information you need to success in your master’s program.
Please note that a binding registration via StudOn is required to participate in the workshop.
Date: 03.04.2025

29.04.2025 Extension of the deadline for completing the degree programme | Workshop
Every student knows the notorious question: “When will you be done with your studies?” Now, the answer to this is usually not so simple. Although most students want to finish their studies within the regular period of study, exceeding the regular period of study is more common than you might think.
This is exactly why it is important to address the question of how many semesters you are actually allowed to study and under what circumstances early on – especially as this can be decisive in determining whether you can still complete your studies on time.
The workshop on extending your period of study at your Student Service Center SSC is intended for all those who have not yet concerned themselves with this topic and have already exceeded the regular period of study. As a reminder, the following regulations apply:
– Master’s degree: 4 + 2 semesters
So if you have already exceeded the regular period of study, the right approach is crucial – what do I still have to complete, what has priority, which forms do I have to submit, etc.?
We would like to answer these questions in our workshop to make the completion of your studies as simple and transparent as possible. Please note that a binding registration via StudOn is required to participate in the workshop.
Date: 29.04.2025
Time: 2pm to 3pm
Room: 01.382 (Cauerstr. 11 / ER, 1. Floor)
